PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — Based right here in Portland, the Dougy Center is a non-profit that helps children and families grieving before and after death.
They are now featured in a new resource for grieving families created by Sesame Workshop, best known for the children’s show Sesame Street.
The resource explores how grief can strike at unexpected times. It also provides ways to tackle feelings, manage stress and embrace hope.
Brennan Wood, Executive Director of the Dougy Center, joined AM Extra in studio to talk more about the new project.
