PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — November is Children’s Grief Awareness Month and a local non-profit has been working to provide a safe space for kids and their families to grieve. The “Dougy Center” in southeast Portland is looking for help to keep the facility fully staffed so they can continue their mission. AM Extra was joined by the center’s executive director Brennan Wood to talk more about their goals and the need for volunteers.
